Alber in Florida, USA has manufactured test equipment for stationary batteries since 1972. The company carries both portable testers and fixed installed monitors.

The latest development is a portable battery resistance tester, Cellcorder CRT-300 that accurately measures the internal resistance of a battery indicating the battery’s state of health. This product will allow battery users to find weak modules before it will fail, without disconnecting it from the charger/load.

Alber also manufacture fixed installed monitors that continuously measure all critical battery parameters and automatically alarms if any of these parameters violates programmed threshold values. Data from the monitor will allow the user to trust their batteries, save money by optimizing useful battery life and reduce maintenance cost and increase safety for personnel and property.

The new BDS-40 is a monitor that is optimized for battery cabinets using 12V modules.
